As a first-generation Korean American, I had the unique opportunity to experience diverse lifestyles at a very young age. While I was adapting to a new culture and learning a new language, I’ve found one easy way I could communicate was through art. Drawing and painting were always hobbies of mine, but it wasn’t until this stage of my life that I realized how powerful art could be.
